It results from congestion of the laminar tissues of the hoof, progressing to tissue separation and a loss of cohesion between the hoof capsule and the pedal bone (distal phalanx). This progression is very rapid, causing intense, persistent pain and debilitating after-effects.
Thanks to the action of effective plants and botanical extracts that stimulate blood circulation, it is possible to act at the very first signs or in cases of chronic recurrence. PROTECT FOURBURE is a plant-extract solution containing Ginkgo Biloba, Green Anise and Milk Thistle, known for their stimulating and venotonic properties.

PROTECT FOURBURE also contains choline, methionine, sorbitol and vitamin B12, known to support liver function and help eliminate toxins. PROTECT FOURBURE is particularly recommended for at-risk horses and during challenging periods. Maintenance: mix 25 ml per day into the feed (15 ml for a pony) for one week per month.
In the event of a flare-up: mix 50 ml per day (40 ml for a pony) for one week or longer if required. 500 ml dosing bottle, providing 10 to 20 days' supply.
