REKOR "Vir Clean" Concentrated Surface Disinfectant

Vir Clean is an optimised blend of glutaraldehyde and 4 quaternary ammonium compounds in an aqueous solution. As the active ingredients are highly stable and not broken down by heat or light, Vir Clean remains effective for 15 days after application. Vir Clean is highly effective against a wide range of micro-organisms. Extensive testing in the laboratory and under field conditions has demonstrated its effectiveness against major viruses and bacteria (equine herpesvirus EHV4 EHV1, orthomyxovirus H1N1 H5N1, parvovirus, Salmonella sp., E. coli, Clostridia sp., Streptococcus equi, MRSA, SARS MERS coronavirus, Aspergillus niger, Candida albicans, ringworm, paramyxovirus), as well as canine distemper (canine parvovirus, feline parvovirus, calicivirus, etc.). Its broad-spectrum activity safeguards animal health and ensures an optimal level of hygiene. Vir Clean is used to treat domestic animal housing (cowsheds, stables, poultry houses, kennels, hutches, etc.), as well as domestic animal transport and breeding equipment. It helps prevent disease by eliminating micro-organisms (viruses, bacteria, fungi) invisible to the naked eye. Vir Clean is a terminal disinfectant for use on surfaces that have first been cleared of heavy soiling and rinsed. Virucidal activity: diluted at 2% (i.e. 20 ml per litre of water) in 15 to 30 minutes. Bactericidal activity: diluted at 0.75% (i.e. 7.5 ml per litre of water) in 5 minutes. Fungicidal activity: diluted at 4% (i.e. 40 ml per litre of water) in 15 minutes. Indications: liquid disinfectant TP3 (biocidal product for veterinary hygiene) and TP4 (disinfection for surfaces in contact with foodstuffs). Bactericidal according to standards T72-301, EN 1276, EN 1656, EN 13697 and NFT 72-281. Fungicidal according to standards T72-300, EN 1650 and EN 13697. Virucidal against vertebrate viruses according to standard NTF 72-180. Product compliant with legislation governing cleaning products for equipment that may come into contact with foodstuffs (Order of 08.09.1999). Ministry of Agriculture approval no. 201057. Composition: alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride CAS 68424-85-1 8%, tetrasodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate CAS 64-02-8 1%, didecyldimethylammonium chloride CAS 7173-51-5 1.5%, glutaraldehyde CAS 111-30-8 15%, d-limonene CAS 5989-27-5 0.1% to 1%. Directions for use: remove all animals. Clear away any residues, debris and soiling. Apply the solution. Leave to act and only reintroduce animals once completely dry. Can be used by spraying walls, floors and large equipment, soaking small equipment, and by thermal fogging. Several dilution rates depending on use: - Bactericidal at 0.75% (5 minutes) AFNOR standard T72-30 (7.5 ml per 1 L). - Fungicidal at 4% (15 minutes) standard T72-301 (40 ml per 1 L). - Virucidal at 2% (30 minutes) AFNOR standard NFT 72-180 (20 ml per 1 L). - Thermal fogging: for a bactericidal dose of 2.4 ml/m3 for 4 hours of contact time. - Standard NFT 72281. - Apply in the absence of humans and/or animals. - Use with whitewash for any treatment: add 20 to 25 kg of neutral whiting per 100 L of solution. Handling and storage: wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye protection if necessary. Avoid all contact with the eyes. Concentrated Vir-Clean, even once diluted, can be stored in an airtight container for 12 months. Do not spray in the presence of food or feed. Contains glutaraldehyde. Harmful by inhalation and if swallowed. Causes burns. May cause sensitisation by inhalation and skin contact. Do not breathe vapours. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
