Du Maréchal "Le Fer d'Or" Hoof Ointment

Cade oil-based hoof ointment providing complete hoof protection during wet periods. This ointment is particularly recommended for horses turned out in wet weather. The tar in its formula waterproofs the hoof wall and sole, while cade oil helps combat thrush in the frog. Farriers use it for hoof problems such as canker, seedy toe (white line disease) and laminitis. Directions for use: Apply "Le Fer d'Or" with a brush onto brushed and picked-out hooves (hoof wall, sole and frog) after hosing down. Store in a temperate place and stir well before use. Composition: animal fat, cade oil, cod liver oil, pure laurel oil, Stockholm tar.
