Farrier's Black Hoof Ointment

To keep hooves healthy during wet periods. Farrier's Black Hoof Ointment is recommended during wet weather and for stabled horses. Rich in pure laurel oil and cod liver oil, it maintains and moisturises the hoof horn while protecting it from ground or bedding moisture thanks to its tar content. Applied daily in wet conditions, it helps prevent hoof cracks and thrush of the frog. It is recommended to apply the black ointment with a brush to brushed and picked-out hooves (hoof wall and sole) after hosing down. Directions for use: store in a temperate place and stir well before use. Composition: animal fat, cod liver oil, Stockholm tar, pure laurel oil.
