What is Iontex®?

At Back on Track, we are constantly coming up with new and innovative ideas. After creating several products using Welltex® fabrics, with the aim of providing as much of the Welltex® effect as possible, we had a number of products that were thick. To expand our product range even further, we created Iontex®. Iontex® follows the same concept as our Welltex® material; the difference is that Iontex® is made using a finer mineral in its yarn, resulting in a thinner fabric. With this material, we create stretchy clothing, lightweight sportswear and even a knitted line, expanding our range of products.

The benefits of Iontex®

Like Welltex®, Iontex® contains minerals that increase blood circulation and reflect body heat as infrared rays. By absorbing body heat and regenerating it into energy, Iontex® gives you greater stamina. The fibres in the fabric are designed to maintain your core temperature and follow your body's movements. When you are active, your body temperature will be higher, which keeps your skin hydrated. The minerals contained in Iontex® are antibacterial, dry quickly and will absorb moisture from the skin to maintain the right temperature. Consequently, the material can adapt to both cold and warm conditions. This makes it perfect to use on hot summer days as well as in the winter cold.
