Muscle problems are common in sport horses, whose requirements for vitamin E and selenium are increased. E PLUS Solution is a complementary feed that combines the antioxidant action of Vitamin E, Vitamin C and Selenium with lysine, an essential amino acid vital for muscle growth and development, alongside a concentrated ginseng extract known for its revitalising action and for helping the body adapt more effectively to exertion. Indications: vitamin E is an antioxidant that supports muscle integrity and rapid recovery during intensive work in racehorses or sport horses. It reduces the risk of muscle contractions (cramps) and is recommended following muscular conditions ("myositis", "azoturia", “Tying up”, etc.). Composition: - Raw materials: magnesium chloride 17%, glycerine. Additives (per kilo): - Trace element compounds: selenium in the form of organic selenium produced by Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-3060 (inactivated selenium yeast) (E 3b8.10) 35 mg. - Amino acids and their salts: L-lysine (monohydrochloride) 3.2.3. 200,000 mg. - Vitamins and provitamins: vitamin E in the form of all-rac-alpha-tocopheryl acetate (3a700) 50,000 IU, vitamin C (3a300) 40,000 mg. - Aromatic substances: ginseng (Panax ginseng) 1000 mg. Analytical constituents: moisture 53%, crude protein 12.8%, crude fat 12%, crude ash 8.6%, magnesium 1.95%, sodium 1.6%, crude fibre 1.5%. Directions for use: For horses: 25 to 30 ml per day for preventative maintenance, 45 ml per day following a muscular condition. For ponies: 15 to 30 ml per day. Like any vitamin supplement, E Plus should be fed for at least 3 weeks to achieve its maximum effect. For horses that have previously suffered from "azoturia" or "myositis", it is strongly advised to feed E Plus throughout the entire competition season at the maintenance dose of 25 to 30 ml. On competition days, it can be combined with Lacta X at a rate of 30 to 50 ml per day in the evening feed. Precautions for use: product formulated for horses. Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and frost. Reseal tightly after each use. Keep out of reach of children. Contains no substances likely to contravene FFE, FEI or racing regulations.
