Rekor "Lacta X" Feed Supplement

Lacta X is a complementary feed designed to neutralise acidity built up in the body following strenuous muscular work and to restore the alkaline reserve. This helps prevent the risk of cramps, muscle soreness and other muscular issues (tying-up, azoturia...). Sodium acid citrate neutralises lactic acid that builds up in the muscles and blood following exercise and acts as a buffer to regulate acidity and limit dehydration. For horses prone to tying-up (azoturia), it is recommended to supplement their diet with electrolytes (Rek A Lyte), vitamin E and selenium (E Plus). Suitable for horses subjected to intense exertion such as racehorses, endurance, eventing and dressage horses, and more generally horses prone to “Tying up” or azoturia. Composition: sodium acid citrate 300 g/L in a syrupy base. - Additives per kilo: B5 3400 mg, vitamin B1 2800 mg. - Analytical constituents: moisture 51%, crude ash 12%, crude protein 2.5%, crude fat < 0.5%, crude fibre < 0.5%, sodium 4.8%. Directions for use for maintenance: 30 ml per day during competition or racing periods. Occasional use: 50 ml after intense exertion, a competition or a race, administered directly into the mouth or mixed into the feed. During endurance rides: 20 ml at each Vet-Gate. Precautions for use: product formulated for horses. Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and frost. Reseal tightly after each use. Keep out of reach of children. Contains no substances likely to contravene FFE, FEI or racing regulations.
