REKOR "So Cool" Flash Complementary Feed

"So Cool" Flash is a dietary complementary feed designed for anxious, nervous, impulsive or hypersensitive horses during competitions and transport. "So Cool" Flash contains L-tryptophan, an essential amino acid well known for its action on anxiety and as a precursor to serotonin. "So Cool" Flash is recommended for very nervous, fizzy and particularly stressed horses during transport, competitions or racing.

Indications: certain situations (competition atmosphere, transport, change of environment, etc.) can lead to a decrease in the secretion of serotonin, a molecule derived from L-tryptophan found notably in the brain where it plays an important role as a neurotransmitter. L-tryptophan is the precursor to this brain hormone, serotonin, and a lack of L-tryptophan can result, among other things, in excessive stress. L-tryptophan is therefore an essential amino acid for the proper functioning of nerve cells, alongside magnesium and vitamin B1. Numerous studies have demonstrated the benefits of L-tryptophan in increasing serotonin concentrations, which play a fundamental role in multiple bodily functions, particularly anxiety, mood and appetite control. It has also been shown that L-tryptophan promotes sleepiness. Therefore, for certain horses that are highly responsive to L-tryptophan, So Cool Flash may not be suitable and it is preferable to use Easy Calm, which will not reduce the horse's athletic performance.
