SPECIAL RECOMMENDATIONS Recommended feeding duration (as a guide): 1 month: Annual maintenance 1-2 months: Crumbly or brittle horn, hoof cracks, compromised hoof structure following a pulled shoe or injury. Moulting period. Rebuilding strong horn after an episode of laminitis, growth spurts, dull coat, brittle mane and tail. 6 months: Regrowth of a major hoof wall defect.
