Norton Long Elastic Schooling Training Aid

Fully elastic training aid similar to ref. 306 412 002, but with a milder, less direct action on the mouth. Ideal for horses that stiffen at the poll and lean against the rider's hand, it is well suited to schooling young horses. It can be used for ridden work or lunging and attaches to the girth or training roller on each side of the horse. As with all training aids, it is important not to adjust it too short, particularly at the start of a session, as the aim is not to restrict the horse—which would cause resistance—but to set a frame within which the horse can work into an outline freely. Fully adjustable.
